When I wrote this, I recall having a few options on the wording here. I don’t think I used to words I did in a self-hating way, but I could be wrong. This story did bring up a lot of garbage about myself so maybe I was using it negatively.

I’m not very good at writing about subjects like this. Thank you for pointing this out. Although I feel the need to change it now, I’m going to leave it as is and see if anyone else catches it.
