Are you a creative or a creator? Have you proven that you have the professional sense to turn your art into a business?

According to the British Council, a creative entrepreneur is “somebody working in the creative sector who is able to demonstrate business success in the classic terms of business growth (profit, market share, employees) and/or in terms of his or her reputation (creativity, quality and aesthetic) amongst their peers.

Are you a successful creator or aspire to be? In order to be a creative entrepreneur, you need to show that you can be successful in your creative endeavors. Is that easy? No, but the good news is that you don’t have to “learn the ropes” alone.

It is difficult to turn art into profit, whether you write, design, photograph, draw, paint, or film. I spent years learning how to write before I made a single dime, and you will hear stories all over the internet of people who did the same.

Take the creator named “Mr. Beast.” He published videos for years before he blew up and became the most popular personality YouTube has. He struggled in obscurity for years before he made a single penny for his efforts. He spent that time learning his craft and improving, and figuring out the exact formula to make videos go…
