I was very interested in your comment because someone asked me something similar and I was going to write another post. But, you are in luck!
I have since rewritten many of the old ones that weren't up to snuff, but I do have one to use as an example. This one is fairly old and about as boring as watching grass grow. This was the kind of stuff I was writing that wasn’t getting curated:
The Secret to Inspired Writing
I was writing something earlier in the day, and it occurred to me that I finally knew how to write something that…
It wasn’t horrible. Just bland.
When I started really improving, I started writing like this:
Suicide Is an Answer, But Not the Right One
Remembering the day, five years ago, when I made a fateful decision
Are You Beautifully Broken?
They walk through life wishing for another day and thanking the universe when they survive
I guess I am harder on myself than most people would be, and that’s why I felt my work wasn’t up to snuff, but I can tell a difference. Can you?
I hope this helped. It's not ONE thing that will get curated — it’s good writing and all the things you mention like formatting and such. Let me know if you have any other questions!
