Hi, Ellen. I have really been thinking of your comment, and I read the article you linked, and I wanted to say thank you for making me aware the story may have failed at achieving expectations.

I've made some changes, but the story was about the flawed man I was at that time, who believe a woman from another country would be more willing to take someone who is a project. It was elitist and ugly, but it was who I was at that time.

I've learn since then and am much more of an advocate for women, especially Filipino women, because I have been in this country for almost 9 years and have grown to love my adopted family.

Your words stung me, and I hope my reaction was offensive, I didn't mean it to be.

So, thank you. I know your thoughts made this a better story.
